As to learn about Electric current we have to first learn Electron theory. So,let’s start….

Electron Theory.

According to Electron theory,

Universe is made with billions, trillions of components called Atoms. By them different Elements, Compounds are formed.

And atom is a tiny particle which is invisible to bare eyes,but there are also some components of atom which are called Electron,Proton,Neutron,Neutrino, Antineutrino,Quark and many others.

Charge on Atom.

As atom is composed of different components but there are three main components which are responsible for the charge and weight of Atom. These are Electrons, Protons and Neutron.

Protons and neutrons are present in nucleus.Protons are positively charged and neutrons are neutral in nature and these both make the weight of Atom. On other hand Electrons revolve around nucleus in special orbit called shells and these particles are negative in nature and their mass is almost 1840 times of a proton

Let’s come to our topic,the follow of Electron is called current. And as we know any thing can follow due to pressure and force . Such a pressure due to which current flows is called Voltage.And Resistance can be defined as the opposition to the flow of current or Electrons is called Resistance
